Rishikesh is a major spiritual city of India, it is surrounded by the Shivalik ranges of the Himalayas and is situated on the banks of the holy river Ganga. It is known as the yoga capital of the world where people from all over the country and abroad come in large numbers for yoga teaching, Ayurvedic Panchkarma, wellness retreats, physical purification, spiritual knowledge, various types of adventurous activities. There are many ancient famous temples and ashrams here. Rishikesh is 25 kms from Haridwar where travellers can also reach from the nearest airport Dehradun which is 16 kms away. There are many beautiful places to visit here like- Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan, Triveni Ghat (World Famous Ganga Aarti), Bhootnath Temple, Beatles Ashram, Kunjapuri Temple (Famous for Sun Rise View & Siddha Peeth), Neerrgarh Waterfall, Ganga River Rafting.
Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Delhi, our tour manager will welcome you and drive you to Haridwar. The journey takes around 4.5 hours and is loved for its scenic views. Check into the hotel and spend some time relaxing. Haridwar translates to "The Gateway to Vishnu," as this is where pilgrims start their Char Dham yatra. Interestingly, Shaivites call this place Hardwar, as Har means Shiva, while Vaishnavites call it Haridwar, with Hari meaning Vishnu. The most auspicious place in Haridwar is the Har ki Pauri, which is believed to be the Ganges' exit point from the mountains. From here, the Ganges enters the plains. It is called the Brahma Kund, as legend has it that this is where a drop of amrit fell on earth when Garuda was carrying the Elixir of Eternal Life after Sagar Manthan, or the Churning of the Ocean. Today, you will visit some of the major tourist attractions in Haridwar, including the Daksha Mahadev Temple, Ma Anandmayi Ashram, Parad Shivling, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Pawan Dham, Maya Devi Temple, Parmath Niketan Ashram, Bhuma Niketan, Shanti Kunj, Bharat Mata Mandir, and the Saptarishi Ashram. Later, you will proceed to Rishikesh. This holy city is situated at the confluence of the Ganga and the Chandrabhaga Rivers. Hindus believe that a dip in the Ganga river here washes all sins. Don’t miss the Triveni Ghat Aarthi, where the three holy rivers, i.e., the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswathi, converge. Spend the night in Rishikesh.
Today, you will explore major tourist attractions like Ram Jhula, the Beatles Ashram, Lakshman Jhula, and Gita Bhawan. Later, check out of the hotel and head to Delhi. Spend the night in Delhi.
After breakfast, head to Old Delhi to explore major tourist attractions like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, and Chandni Chowk. You can also explore attractions in New Delhi, including India Ghat, Akshardham, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Later, you will head to the airport to catch your return flight.
